PGP International divest Whey processesing plant in Juda, Wisconsin

PGP International announced that it has sold its whey processing plant in Juda, Wisconsin to Grande Cheese Company. Grande is not only a past supplier/partner, but a neighbor to the plant, closely aligned with the markets, equipment, and related businesses. The sales agreement stipulates that all employees will be retained.

PGP International CEO Nicolas Hanson said, “Our parent company, Associated British Foods, has a history of investment in and good stewardship of its subsidiaries. Leadership has agreed it is time to pass the Juda whey processing facility to the next good steward. I look forward to hearing about the continued success and growth of this plant under Grande’s leadership. We wish our colleagues well as they join the Grande family.”
